Chalets median sales prices in 2014 increased by 10% from 2013. Actual unit sales though were down by 4.5% due to limited supply. This is also indicative of higher priced chalets selling more in 2014. By the end of the year in 2014, we saw an 18% drop in supply of active listings for chalets.
Median sales prices for townhomes increased by 5.3% in 2014 from the previous year. Unit sales show a brisk 22% increase in the market that by year end, we saw a 24% decline in active listings for townhomes.
Median sales price for condominiums increased by 15% in 2014. Actual unit sales increased by 24%. By year end, we saw a 14% decline in active listings.
